Love is an hourglass

Inspired by a quote by Jules Renard:
"Love is like an hourglass, with the heart filling up as the brain empties."

Its a nice romantic sentiment but not always the case. I think sometimes it is the other way around.

I like the concept of 'love' as an hour glass... a measure of time, something with a beginning and an end. (...Its quite apt.)

Then when it ends, as everything does, you (can) turn it over and begin again.


I will work with this image more... one day, if I ever get time (!)
